Larch House, Findhorn
Zero Carbon House, Findhorn. Moray Design Award 2008 The internal arrangement of the house was designed around a stair located centrally and comprising two straight flights and a curved half landing. The curved wall of the stair landing is then reflected in the adjacent bathrooms and bedrooms forming a strong spatial design feature to what is a small simple house. -
Lime House, Findhorn
Built for an outgoing young family, the design of this project was a collaboration form the outset. The Start family run their own business restoring clockwork memorabilia and as a result have a large and varied collection of artefacts for which the internal spaces were designed. -

A self-sufficient & off-grid eco-house. Passive & Active solar heating systems augmented by mirco-wind turbine. Local Larch cladding & field stone construction. -
Farm House, Pitmedden
Design of a new Zero-Carbon Farmhouse on a rural Aberdeenshire site outside the village of Pitmedden. External finishes of local larch cladding with shingle roofing. Passive energy house using super insulated external walls & roof, PV electric solar roof arrays with heat recovery & heat-pump heating system.
