As Chartered Architects we concentrate on producing new homes individual to the needs of our Clients, befitting the Scottish rural environment. All our work aims to be carbon neutral, incorporating local natural material with low embodied energy, breathing wall building constructions and environmentally focussed specifications. Most of our projects incorporate the use of renewable energy systems including solar thermal, solar photovoltaic, ground sourced heat-pump or wood pellet fuel systems.

We believe that by supporting Clients through the early-stage decision making process we can add real value to their projects. Our professional advise is based on knowledge & experience gained over may years of designing and building. We use this strategic expertise to help Clients formulate their projects, consider alternatives and make decisions that lead to better & more cost effective projects. 

On behalf our Clients, we are usually appointed as the lead consultant to an interdisciplinary Design Team including Structural Engineers, Energy Advisors and Cost Managers. In this way we are able to take total responsibility for all pre-construction design and planning work ready for the selection & appointment of a Building Contractor. We then take great time and care to work closely with your chosen Contractor to ensure the project is undertaken on time and to desired quality & budget. In this way we are able to ensure the quality and sustainability of your project from the initial Client meeting through to completion and handover.
